Did He Survive?????
February 2, 2008We just got back from the stunt.....we don't know if he survived......
So they picked about a hundred of us to go down and check out the car.....we get down there....Sully and some wrestling guy were there to support him....Criss is talking about the stunt....the number 13.....and about death. He didn't seem himself...it was weird. So anyway, he gets handcuffed to the car steering wheel. We check it out to verify it is him in the car and that he is cuffed to the steering wheel. We walk by and shout words of encouragement....then we high tail it up to the other side of the cliff so we can watch. We were only up there for a few minutes when we here Criss shout...."Are you Ready"...and the car starts moving. He has 12 seconds to escape the handcuffs and jump out of the car. The car keeps rolling and no Criss.....the car dives off of the cliff and there is a massive explosion. My daughter is squeezing my hand so tight I can't stand the pain. A few seconds later...production crew is yelling at us telling us we have to back away from the cliff and leave the area. They make us go to the parking lot. We stand there for at least an hour.....no Criss. It's getting dark.....no Criss. Production crew is telling us that fire and rescue went down but they haven't heard anything. Next thing we know, we see Sully leaving in a car....then the police tell us we all have to leave. Children were crying....I was crying....nobody knows if he made it......we were the last ones to leave the area......no Criss. I believe he made it.....but my stomach is churning and the tears keep coming. I've never seen them end one of these like this. Criss....we hope and pray you are ok.
